The Nike Air Max Plus first touched down in 1998 with design inspiration from palm trees on a Floridian beachfront. This Wmns Air Max Plus features a breezy mesh upper dressed in an arresting multicolor gradient. White welded caging and premium leather overlays provide contrast and support. The shoe's classic 'whale tail' shank and visible Tuned Air units continue the gradient, while black rubber tread underscores the look from below.
The Air Max Plus had a big year last year, but it seems the Swoosh aren't planning on slowing down, bringing back colourways like the 'Volt/Solar Red' and now the indelible ‘Summer Gradient’. This pastel iteration last saw a release in 2019, but it looks to be getting a restock in 2024.
Arriving in yet another gradient design, the colour scheme boasts orange at the toe followed by pink, purple, and blue. Meanwhile, the lace loops are dressed in black for contrast, as well as the insole, Nike Air emblem on the tongue tab, and lateral Swoosh. The rest of the upper is covered in white for a clean look. The gradient midfoot shank and vibrant traction pad round off the silhouette.
